 まだまだ暑い日が続いていて、なかなか秋になりませんね。

さて、来週火曜日から９月末まで新宿ルミネ１、2階のdrama H.P.FRANCEさんにて展示販売をさせていただきます。 この期間はお店のショーウィンドウの演出までやらせていただくのでdramaさんをすっかりmjoux色に染めてしまおうと思っています。

今回は新作もたくさん発表いたします。見どころは今年のはじめにドイツとスペインで仕入れてきた素敵な石たちを使った一点ものシリーズです。特にトルマリンはグレードの高いもの、おもしろいものがたくさん手に入ったので、わくわくしながら作りました。よいコレクションになったと思います。

展示のテーマは「かいじゅうたちのいるところ」。そう、数年前にスパイク・ジョーンズが映画化したことで更に有名になったモーリス・センダック氏の絵本のタイトルです。子供の頃にこの絵本が大好きだったこともありますが、だんだんと夜が長くなってくるこの時期、急に空気が透明感を増していく雰囲気はどこか森の奥に潜むかいじゅうたちを思わせるものがあります。夏が終わって元気な子供たちが家に帰った後、「やれやれ、やっと静かになったなあ」と木陰からかいじゅうたちが出てきそうな気がするのは私が多摩育ちだからでしょうか。秋の、そういった神秘的なところを表現できればと思っております。

かいじゅうジュエリーに関しては次回、もう少し詳しくご紹介いたします。

展示を手がけるのはいつも本当にお世話になっています花梅東京さん。 彼女の素晴らしい表現力で「かいじゅうたちのいそうな」ショーウィンドウになりです。

The temperature still doesn't go down, however I feel that the autumns is right behind the door... 

I am exhibiting+selling the new collection at drama H.P.FRANCE in Shinjuku LUMINE I from 18th (tue) to 30th (sun) September.  This time I am decorating their show-windows, not only the show cases, so if you visit drama during the exhibition, you can see the absolute world of mjoux!!  

The theme of this exhibition is "Where The Wild Things Are", yes the famous monster tale written and drew by Mauris Sendack (there was a movie of this children s' book directed by Spike Jonze in 2009).  As a child I was fascinated by his mystic world and beautiful drawings, and probably it left a large influence on my creation and me.

I think the autumn (especially evening or night time) belongs to those wild things.

When the autumn arrives, the air changes more transparent and quiet, makes us feel like something mystic will happen.  So my intention was to express this kind of mystic feeling on the new collection.  

I will talk about more about the monster jewelries next time...

The show-windows will be decorated with Hanaume-Tokyo , the great flower artist and my best friend.

ものすごく久しぶりの更新になってしまいました！

先週、スペインより帰国、今週からさっそくイベントです。
渋谷の東急東横店５階、C.P. Squareにて本日6日(木)から19日(水)まで限定ショップがオープンいたします。
秋らしいファッションのご提案ということで、新作も何点か用意しております！
一緒に参加しているのはフラワーアーティストのHANAUME東京さん、ランジェリーのHAVIENAさん、アイシングクッキーのmicarinaさんです。
きのう設営を終えましたが、かなり個性豊かなおもしろいコーナーとなりました。

...Has been long time since the last update!

I'm back from Spain last week, started working again in Tokyo.

The first exhibition to start up this month is HAPPY CARNIVAL at C.P. Square on 5th floor in Tokyu-Toyoko which is located in Shibuya station.  Starts today 6th (thu) and till 19th (wed).

The exhibition is along with; HANAUME Tokyo (flower art), HAVIENA (lingeries), and micarina (with lovely icing cookies).

...Hace demasiado tiempo sin darles ninguna noticia...

Ya he vuelto de España la semana pasada y estoy otra vez en Tokyo.

Para empezar, tengo una expo a partir de hoy en Shibuya, es HAPPY CARNIVAL en C.P. Square en la 5ª planta de Tokyu-Toyoko. Es un centro comercial que está situado en la estación de Shibuya.  Comienza hoy el 6 (jue) y es hasta el 19 (mie) de septiembre.

Estoy exponiendo junto con; HANAUME Tokyo (flores), HAVIENA (ropas interiores), y micarina (icing cookies).

Las fotos son de anoche, cuando terminamos de montar.

Marriage rings I

" Congrats Y & C!"

　お友達のYちゃんから個人的にご注文いただきました結婚指輪。仲良しおしどりカップルですがデザインはそれぞれ別のものを。ずっと身につけるものなので、本当に好きなデザインがあるならお揃いでなくても大いにアリだと思います。

Yちゃんにはゆったりとした雲のようなシェイプに小さなダイヤがアクセントに入ったかわいらしいリング。地金は18Kイエローのマットゴールドで。
Cくんにはなんとなく海の生物を思わせるモチーフのリングを18Kピンクゴールドで。
リング内側にはお二人の名前が刻印されます。

Yちゃん、Cくん、ご結婚おめでとうございます！
これからも仲良く、笑いが一杯のおふたりでありますように！！

   These marriage rings are made for my fiend Miss Y and his boyfriend.  Although being a couple of lovebirds, they wanted them in different design.  Choosing the design for your marriage ring is very important while it is something that you wear all life long, you should be honest with yourself and choose the one really like.  Otherwise you may get tired with it someday.  In this case, it's not necessary to be the same design as your partner's!

Miss Y requested her ring as soft, cloudy shaped ring with little diamond in yellow matte gold for her, and for his boyfriend C, I designed the ring that reminds of some sort of marine crustacean and he wanted it in shiny pink gold.

The rings will be finished soon with their names graved inside of the rings.

    Estos anillos de alianza han sido para un pedido personal, una amiga mía, "Y", que se casaba con "C".  Aunque es una pareja de tortolitos, ellos querían sus anillos con los diseños distintos para cada uno.  Pienso que como es algo para llevar toda la vida, elegir un diseño para su anillo de alianza es algo importante.  Si están seguro de cómo los quieren, pues tampoco es nesesario tener un mismo diseño para los dos. ¡Si no se podrían cansar algún día!

"Y" lo quiso para ella con la forma suave como de nube, con un diamantito en el medio, y en oro amarillo mate.  En cambio para su novio "C", he diseñado un anillo que recuerda algo como crustáceo-marino; y lo pidió en oro rosa brillante.

Los anillos estarán terminados pronto, con sus nombres grabados en el interior.

openhouseはバルセロナの現代美術館MACBA近くに一年前にオープンしたばかりのコンセプトショップです。オーナーのAnderew Trotterさんによるセレクトで、インテリア、キッチンウェア、服、ジュエリー、アートから植物までちょっと気になるものがたくさん。

mjoux is now in openhouse Barcelona (c/Notariat 6, 08001)!

openhouse is a concept shop, which has just opened near MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art) one year ago.  Here you can find a variety of unique goods, such as interior designs, tableware, cloths, jewelries, art and even plants selected by the owner Andrew Trotter.
