This is the second exhibition since June, again we are taking place at Taito Designers Village (where my workshop is) with the collaboration of  atelier65 (ladies' shoe brand) and riyaham (ladies' apparel).

There will be showing some of the new works as well, so please come and enjoy!

EGG Necklace

 

  

メキシコ・マトリックスオパールと淡水パールのネックレスです。
メキシコ・マトリックスオパールはオパールが母岩に入ったものをそのまま削り出した石です。写真の石の真ん中のオレンジの部分がオパールです。中のオパールだけを取り出して磨いたものはファイヤーオパールと呼ばれる石になります。
間に入り込んだオパールの形は石によって異なりますが、色合いはこの組み合わせが多いようです。なんだかタマゴの様でかわいいですよね。
ペンダントトップの裏側はオパールと同じ形に切り抜かれています。
ちょっとした遊び心です。

A necklace made with Mexican matrix opal and fresh water pearls.

Mexican opals usually occurs in the hard matrix stones called rhyolite, it is frequently cut
with some of the rhyolite still surrounding backing the opal nodule.  In the pictures above, the opal is the orange, irregular shaped part.  Opal itself can be taken out from matrix stone and polished to be a fire opal. 

The shapes of opal differ in each stone, however the combination of these two colors are similar in most of Mexican matrix opals.  I find it cute, they seem like eggs.

The backside of the pendant top is cut out in the shape of opal in front face.

Un collar hecho con Ópalo matriz de México y perlas de agua dulce.

Los Ópalos matriz usualmente sucede en las piedras matriz que son bastante duras que se llaman riolita, muchas veces se tallan con la riolita alrededor de ópalo.  En las fotos arriba, la parte que tiene el color naranja en la forma irregular es el ópalo. El ópalo solo sin piedra matriz se llama ópalo de fuego.

Las formas de ópalo son distintas en cada piedra, pero la combinación de dos colores son parecidas en mayoría de Ópalos matriz.  A mi me parecen muy monos,  se ven como los huevitos.

La parte atrás esta tallada en la forma del ópalo en la cara frontal.

Es un detalle pequeñito.

ANGEL Necklace

 

 

 

真鍮製エンジェルのトップです。
チェーン（シルバー製）は長さ70cmと少し長めのデザインになっています。
後ろ姿もきちんと作りこんであるのでひっくり返ってしまっても大丈夫！
掘り出し物のアンティークのような雰囲気です。
こちらのネックレスは香川県は高松市の漂泊（ハク） さんでもお取り扱いがあります。
トップ部分の大きさは約4x3x1cm, 全体の重さは33,2gです。

Brass made Angel pendant top with silver 70cm chain.

The back is also carved, so no problem if it is turned over!
This angel looks really antique as if it is found at some curio shop, however it is brighter when it is new, it darkens little by little after a year it becomes like the one in the pictures. (The result depends how it is used.)
This Angel necklace is also available at Haku in Takamatsu, Kagawa.
The top part messures approx. 4x3x1cm, and weights 33,2g including the chain.

Un colgante de Ángel hecho en latón con la cadena de plata de 70cm.

La parte atrás está también grabado, así que no haya problema si esté girado por la casualidad!

El Ángel parece antiguo como se hubiese encontrado en un anticuario, pero normalmente está más brillante cuando esté nuevo.  Poco a poco se oscurece, después de un año de uso queda como uno de las fotos.  (La resultad depende como está usado.)

Este colgante Ángel es también disponible en Haku en Takamatsu, Kagawa.
La parte de Ángel mide aprox. 4x3x1cm y pesa 33,2g incluido la cadena.

以前にご紹介したタツノオトシゴベルト（黒、茶）ですが、今回特別オーダーでライラック色をお作りしました。通常の商品ではありませんがキレイなのでご紹介します。黒、茶は別との幅が4,2mmなのですが、こちらのライラックは4mmと若干幅が狭くなっています。
上質のバックスキン（スペイン産）を使っています。
バックルはネジで留めてあるので簡単に取り外しができます。

Lilac color is newly debut for the sea horse belt!  

I have black and cognac as regular colors, however I can mount it on other colors on demand.  This lilac color belt has 4mm width, 0,2mm narrower than black or cognac.  The leather is good quality, genuine buckskin from Spain.  

The buckle is mounted with two screws, so it can be easily replaced.

This color is a limited version, however I have some more pieces in stock, pls contact to info@mjoux.com if you are interested.

¡El nuevo color lila es disponible ahora para cinturones de caballos de mar!

Los colores regulares son negro y coñac, pero también es posible montarlo con otros colores por encargo.  Este cinturón lila mide 4mm de ancho, 0,2mm menos que el negro o coñac.  Es piel de ante de mejor calidad hecha en España.

La hebilla está montada con dos tornillos, así se podrá reemplazar con facilidad.
