 石の仕入れのため、ドイツはミュンヘンンに行きました。

時間があまったので市内観光に。"RESIDENZ（レジデンツ＝王宮跡）" 見学に行きました。秘宝がたくさん！

I was in Munich for a Jewelry Fair to buy gem stones.

In my spare time, I went to see the Munich Residenz where the Palace was.

It is enormous, there were 130 rooms, and numerous treasures to see!

先日のIFFで展示しましたブライダルラインのリングです。
はじめの2点はアクアマリンを使ったリングになります。
古代よりアクアマリンは「美しさ」と「誠実」を象徴する石で、アクアマリンを贈られた花嫁は一生幸せになる、といわれています。ちなみに3月の誕生石でもあります。
みずみずしい透明な水色がきれいなので、個人的に好きでよく使います。

３点目は蛇をモチーフにしたプラチナのリングです。額と目にダイヤが入っています。
自分の尾をくわえて輪になっている蛇は古来から「永遠」の象徴として使われてきたモチーフです。

These are rings from the bridal collection, which I presented at IFF last week.

The first and the second ring are mounted with aquamarine.  

Aquamarine presents "beauty" and "loyalty" so it is said that it makes the bride happy for her whole life.  I love its pure, transparent blue color, it is one of my favorite precious stones.

The third is a platinum ring in the shape of snake biting its own tail, which is a symbol of "eternity" since ancient times.  

The ring has 3 diamonds in the forehead and eyes of the snake.

Son los anillos que presenté en la feria de IFF de la semana pasada.

Los primeros dos anillos son de aguamarina.  

La aguamarina presenta "belleza" y "lealtad", por eso dicen que la novia regalada a una aguamarina puede pasar toda la vida feliz. 

Me encanta su color puro y transparente azul, es una de las gemas que me gustan más.

El tercero es un anillo de platino en la forma de un serpiente come su propia cola, el motivo ha sido un símbolo de "eternidad" desde los tiempos remotos.

El anillo lleva tres diamantes en el frente y en los ojos del serpiente.

先日のIFFで展示をしました mjouxのブライダルコレクションをご紹介いたします。

淡水パールと翡翠（海でとれたもの）を使ったコレクションなので「Mermaid（マーメイド）」と名付けました。

真珠は母貝に守られて育つ事から「守護」、「女性」の象徴として昔から花嫁が身につける習慣があります。

翡翠は東洋では特に「健康」と「生命」のシンボルとして珍重されてきました。今回使った石は模様が地球のようで、色も青みがかっているので花嫁が結婚式当日に付けていると幸せになれるという「something blue（青色のアイテム）」としてご提案したいです。

ネックレスのデザインはリボンで短めにまとめていただいてもかわいいですし、リボンを外すと一連の長い（約80cm）ネックレスになります。２通り楽しんでいただけるデザインになっています。ロジウムシルバーがmjouxらしいアクセントです。

ブレスレットは同じく淡水パール とシルバーチェーンのコンビネーションが甘過ぎないデザインです。

This collection has been presented at IFF last week, I named them "Mermaid Collection" because the both freshwater pearl and jade used for this collection are from ocean.  

As it is known, a pearl is the symbol of "protection" and "woman" as it grows protected by the mother shell, and jade is the symbol of "health" and "life" especially in China.  It's greenish blue color would be a perfect "something blue" item for brides.

The Mermaid Necklaces have two ways to wear, can be worn as chokers with ribbon or as single long necklaces (aprox. 31,5 inch long).  They are combined with silver chains, which is typical style of mjoux.

The bracelet is also made with freshwater pearl and silver chains.

 Esta colección de joyas estaban presentadas en IFF la semana pasada, la he nombrado como "Colección Sirena" porque ambos la perla de agua dulce y el jade que he utilizado para esta colección son del mar.  

Dicen que la perla simboliza la "protección" y la "feminidad", por eso les regalaban a las novias desde hace siglos.  

El jade es el símbolo de la "vida" y la "salud" en China.  También sería regalo perfecto de "algo azul" para las novias por su color azul verdoso.  

Las collares pueden poner cerrados con las cintas o abiertos y largos (aorox. 80cm de largo).  Están combinados con las cadenas de plata, cual es algo típico de mjoux. 

La pulsera también está hecha con las perlas de agua dulce y las cadenas de plata.

Está colección está en Kadomi Shop durante el mes de febrero, empezando hoy.

1/25(水) -27(金)に東京ビッグサイトで開催されたIFF (International Fashion Fair)の様子です。

ブライダルコレクションのセクションで「美女と野獣」をキーワードに10人のデザイナーが集合、花梅東京さんの素晴らしいフラワーワークにより、本当に完成度の高いブースに仕上がりました。ブースは野獣の中庭を意識した作りになっています。

来場された方々からも大変なご好評をいただき、3日間で終ってしまったのがもったいないくらい。

今回は私たちのコレクションをIFFのオフィシャルガイドの表紙にも採用していただきました。

The pics from IFF (International Fashion Fair), which was held 25-27th January at Tokyo Big Sight.  This time we had a group presentation of bridal collection among 10 designers, under the collection theme "The Beauty and The Beast", we made our booth to look like the patio of the beast, with the great flower works of Hanaume Tokyo.

Son las fotos de IFF (International Fashion Fair) que tuvo lugar en Tokyo Big Sight durante el 25 al 27 de enero.  La presentación fue sobre una colección de la moda nupcial con los 10 diseñadores más la colaboración de Hanaume Tokyo con sus trabajos maravillosos de flores.  El tema era "La Bella y La Bestia" y diseñamos nuestro estand para parecer el patio de la bestia.

今月末、25（水）〜27（金）日に東京ビッグサイトにてInternational Fashion Fairという大きなファッションの展示会に出展します。

今回はブライダルゾーンに初進出！約34平米のスペースをいただいて「La Belle et La Bête（美女と野獣）」というテーマで10人のデザイナーさんたちとコラボ展示をします。このたびmjouxが企画／監修もやらせていただきました！
上に貼付けたビデオは1946年に作られたジャン・コクトー監督の「La Belle et La Bête」。美女と野獣というとどうしてもディズニー映画のイメージが出てきてしまうのですが、私が出したかったのはこちらの雰囲気。デザイナーさん方にはあらかじめこの映画を見ていただき、イメージ作りの参考にしていただきました。90分のフルバージョンをご覧になりたい方はコチラ。舞台美術や衣装が素敵ですよ。

当日、展示ブース内は植物でデコレーションされ、野獣の中庭のイメージに仕上げられます。ブライダルの白くて可愛らしい雰囲気ではなく、少し妖しい感じの、でも格式の高いゾーンになるよう、参加メンバー共々力を入れて取り組んでおりますのでみなさん、お楽しみに！！

さらに今回は業者さんのみではなく、一般のお客様にもご来場いただけます！

I am pleased to announce that I am presenting at International Fashion Fair at Tokyo Big sight during 25-27th January!  

mjoux will be showing a bridal collection for very first time along with 10 other designers, the booth is called "La Belle et La Bête (The Beauty and The Beast)" and I am taking the planning and the direction!  (Thank you for your support everyone!)

The video attached above is a trailer of the movie "La Belle et La Bête" (1946) filmed by Jean Cocteau. It is more likely to remember of the Disney film when I talk about "The Beauty and the Beast", however the image that I wanted was something more grotesque and elegant.  So I passed around this video to the designers to give them a bit of clue for their designing.  If you are interested to see the full version of this film its here.  The art work and the costumes are so beautiful.

At this moment we are doing our max effort to make our booth perfect,  the 34m2 booth will be decorated with plants and dried flowers to be look like the patio of the beast.

Estoy presentando en la feria de International Fashion Fair en Tokio Big Sight de 25 a 27 de enero.

Es una gran feria de moda en general, pero montaron la sección de la moda nupcial desde el año pasado.  mjoux estará mostrando su pequeña colección nupcial junto con los otros 10 diseñadores, en el estand de "La Belle et La Bête (La Bella y La Bestia)", de hecho estoy participando desde la planificación y la dirección. (Gracias a todos con las ayudas y soportes!!)

El video puesto arriba es el tráiler de "La Belle et La Bête" (1946) filmado por Jean Cocteau, he pasado este video a todos que participan a la presentación de "La Belle et La Bête" para coger un poco de imaginación.  Es que cuando habla de "La Bella y La Bestia" suele recordar de la película de Disney, pero yo quería un ambiente más grotesco y elegante.  La obra de Cocteau es más cerca a lo que quería llegar.  Si quieren ver la versión completa de la peli, es aquí.  Es muy bonito los trabajos de arte y trajes.

De momento estamos haciendo nuestro máximo fuerza para quedar nuestro estand de 34m2 perfecto, estará decolado con las plantas y los flores de secados, va a parecer como el patio de la bestia.

早いものでもう2012。世の中は混沌としておりますが今年も頑張ります。

私事ですが年女です。今年は１月中に3年間お世話になった台東デザイナーズビレッジ を卒業、半年間バルセロナに戻ります。色々と転機の一年になりそうです。良い方に転びますように！

It's so fast that the time passes, can't believe we have reached a 2012 already!

This is a year of Dragon in Chinese astrology and it is my year!!! (I was born in the year of Dragon.)

By the way a "seahorse" is "an illegitimate baby of dragon" in Japanese.

This January I will leave from my atelier at Taito Designers Village where I spent 3 years and going back to Barcelona again for 6 months.  Hope that there are many positive changes, and the world gets a little bit better than now.

Que rápido pasa el tiempo,  no me puedo creer que ya hemos llegado al año 2012!

Este año es el año del Dragón en el astrología chino y es mi año!!! (Yo nací en el año del Dragón.)

Por cierto, "el caballo del mar" es "el ilegítimo de dragón" en japonésç

En enero voy a dejar mi taller en Taito Designers Village donde he pasado 3 años y voy a volver a Barcelona de nuevo por unos 6 meses!  Espero que me esperen muchos cambios positivos y también al mundo que está tan mal.

「Choice Of Your New Style III」いよいよ本日よりスタートです！

きのうは夕方から夜にかけて展示スペースを設営。デザビレ交流サロンがなかなか素敵な空間になりました！

今回リリースの新作をご紹介します。

上は 「Joyful Seahorse Necklace」。クリスマスらしいネーミングにしました。カラフルなビーズに金色のタツノオトシゴがついています。タツノオトシゴはmjouxのシンボルですが、来年の辰年にもひっかけています。小さな王冠を被っています！

去年はタコネックレスがヒットしたので、その続きです。

下はアンティーク調のリングです。シルバーとブラス（真鍮）のものがあります。リングを置いて上から見ると丸に近い形の「Mariquita Ring」（*Mariquita はスペイン語で「てんとう虫」。）と、スカーフを巻いた女の子のように見える「Matyoshka Ring」（*おなじみロシアの入れ子人形、Matryoshka=マトリョーシカ。）です。今まで人気だった形をシリーズ化することにしました。石はガーネット、アメジスト、マラカイトを使っています。

Choice Of Your New Style III starts today!  We finished to set up the exhibition space last night, it looks great now!

I would like to present the new pieces which I'm releasing this time, the fist one is Joyful Seahorse Necklace made of colorful beads and gold plated seahorse (with little crown on it!) on the top.  Seahorse is a symbol of mjoux jewelry, however this time it has more meaning because 2012 is the year of dragon! Note that in japanese, seahorse is "an illegitimate child of dragon".  It is a continuation of last year's Octopus Necklece, too.

Below are Mariquita Rings and Matryoshka Rings made of silver or brass with garnet, amethyst and malachite.  Those names came from the shape of the rings (when you overlook at them), Mariquita means a Ladybird in Spanish, a matryoshka is a famous Russian nesting doll as it looks like a girl wrapped in scarf. 

Please come 'n' look!!

¡Choice Of Your New Style III comienza hoy!  Terminamos de montar el espacio anoche, se ha quedado bien bonito.

Me gustaría presentar una piezas nuevas que estoy lanzando a partir de hoy, la primera es Joyful Seahorse Necklace está hecho con las perlas acrílica y un caballito del mar en dorado, es un poco de la continuación de Octopus Necklace del año pasado.  El caballito del mar es el símbolo de mjoux, además el 2012 es el año de dragón! Porque en japonés, el caballito del mar es "el hijo ilegítimo del dragón".  

Los siguientes son Mariquita Rings y Matryoshka Rings, son de plata o latón con las piedras de granate, amatista y malaquita.  Los nombres vienen de sus formas, cuando los ven desde arriba se ven como mariquita o una chica envuelta en un pañuelo (que me hace recordar de las muñecas tradicionales de rusas).
