東北大震災から一週間が経ちました。私は海外にて今回の大惨事を知ったのですが、事の大きさが理解の範囲を超えており、今まで感じた事のない漠然とした不安と恐怖を感じました。
災害に遭われた方、またそのご家族の方に心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
また一刻も早く日本が立ち直れる事を願っております。

バルセロナにおります。
先週１２日、スケートボードショップ FTC Barcelonaにてハンドペイントのボード約30点を集めた展示会『Fine Rats or Die!!』のオープニングがありました。
自由な発想でペイント＆デザインされたボードの数々。かなり見応えがありました。
参加したのは今のバルセロナを代表するイラストレーター、グラフィティーアーティスト、ペインターの面々。私の相方、zwANhgも参加しております。
同メンバーで雑誌『Fine Rats』も発行しています。
あまり知られていませんがバルセロナはスケートボードの名所の一つで、特に現代美術館MACBA前の広場はボーダーの人気スポット。数年前に規制が敷かれるまでは海外の有名なスケーターを道で見かける事も多々ありました。そのためMACBA付近にはスケボー関連のショップが軒を連ねています。

Last week on March 12th, there was an opening party of "Fine Rats or Die!!", a presentation of hand painted skateboard collection among 30 artists at FTC Barcelona.
So-original and creative boards are designed and painted by young illustrators, graffiti artists and painters of Barcelona, including my partner zwANhg.
Barcelona has been noted among skaters, especially the plaza in front of MACBA is one of the most famous spots for them. There were many competitions and also many important skaters from overseas had visited there before the y put a regulation. However still remains many skaters, and you can find many skateboarding shops around MACBA.
"Fine Rats of Die!!" will be on tour through couple of cities in Spain, and then possibly reaches to FTC San Francisco and Shibuya.

La semana pasada el 12 de marzo, hubo una fiesta de inauguración de "Fine Rats or Die!!", una presentación de la colección de las tablas pintado a mano entre los 30 artistas en FTC Barcelona.
Las tablas son tan originales y creativas, no se cansa a ver. Son diseñadas y pintadas por nuevos artistas, ilustradores, grarfiteros de Barcelona, incluido mi pareja zwANhg.
De hecho también tienen una revista que se llama "Fine Rats".
Barcelona ha llamado atención de los skaters ya hace tiempo, sobre todo la plaza del MACBA es uno de los lugares más famosos entre ellos. Hace años han puesto una regularización, pero antes había más competiciones y por eso venía muchos skaters extranjeros. Sin embargo aún quedan muchos skaters, y se puede encontrar varias tiendas de skate alrededor de MACBA.
"Fine Rats of Die!!" estará de gira por algunas partes en España, y posiblemente llegue a FTC San Francisco y Shibuya.
