なんだか夏らしい写真になってしまいました。

オーストラリア産ブラックオパールのネックレスとリングです。

オパールにはたくさんの種類がありますが、中でも地色（石の裏側）が黒いものがブラックオパールで、オパールの中でも最も希少価値が高い石とされています。たまに石の裏側に黒いカーボンを貼った偽物も出回っているので要注意です。

写真1、2枚目のペンダントトップに使った石は青や緑の細かな粒子がたくさん入っていて光の加減できらきらと表情を変えます。

リングの石はラフなカットで、前後左右で高低差もありました。青みの強い、モザイクのような模様がきれいです。

最後の写真は数年前に作ったオーダーメイドのペンダントトップで、石は長辺が2cmほどある大きめのものでした。こちらは紫、ピンク色も入っていて、ファンタジックな色合いです。

Here are necklaces and a ring with black opal.
Black Opal is the rarest and most valuable type of opal.  The name comes from the black (or dark gray) color on their back.  There are many fakes in the market, they are made usually by attaching black carbon on the back of white opal. 
The pendant from the 1st and 2nd photo, this stone contains many blue-greenish particles in it, which show a play of color as changing the light.

The other stone that I used for the ring is rather rough, uneven shaped.  It is stronger in blue color and the pattern seems like mosaic.
The necklace in the last picture is from some years ago.  The gem was bigger, it was about 2cm in length.  The color was amazing, multi-colored including pink and purple.

Parecen veraniega las fotos...
Son los collares y un anillo con ópalo negro.  

Ópalo negro es el tipo más raro y más valioso de ópalo.  El nombre proviene del color negro (o gris oscuro) del base de las piedras.  Hay muchas imitaciones en el mercado, están hechas generalmente aplicando una lamina de carbón en la parte detrás de ópalo blanco.
El colgante de la 1ª y 2ª foto, la piedra contiene muchos brillos azul-verdoso en él, que se muestran un juego de colores por atravesando la luz.
La otra piedra que he usado para el anillo venía en la forma más bruta y desigual.  Se ve como un mosaico con distintos niveles de azul.
El collar de la última foto es de hace algunos años.  La gema era más grande, medía 2 cm aprox. de largo.  Tenía color maravilloso, multicolor incluyendo rosa y morado.
